Regarding above matter and telecommunication, this is my brief description of my accident & the issue with the previous law farm, (TNG SOON CHYE & CO)

Attached police report for your reference.
1) Car accident in March 2019 (Police report attached)
2) TNG SOON CHEY & Co acted for my personal injury claim, through Car Insurance Co,
3) I went to hospital and followed up the appointments as instructed.
4) Suffered neck pain, numbness on left hand shoulder.
5) First proposed offer, they suggested me to not to accept, I just follow all the suggestion from law farm.
6) and follow up hospital appointments for neck pain & shoulder.
7) In March 2020, along with the medical reports from the hospital, the lawyer contacted and explained that my shoulder is not because of accident.
8) I just mentioned, the numbness & difficult to move my shoulder become just after the accident, before the accident I never felt this.
9) On the discussion by telecommunication, he misunderstood and assumed that I refused the medical report and said he did not act for me anymore and asked me to find another lawyer within days.
10) I respect all medical reports really, and not reject
11) As a client, I just mentioned my suffering to my lawyer personally. but he misunderstood and made a decision by one sided.
13) I really don't want to waste any more time finding another lawyer, and during that circuit breaker Covid period
14) I requested him to continue with him and just to close the case whatsoever
15) But, there was also an invoice of lawyer charges and he filed an application at court for discharge of solicitor.

Now,
my case is not closed yet, half way.
My lawyer filed an application at court, summon is on 15 July 2020.


Pls may I get your suggestion please.?
1) Is my case only can get such an amount S$1674.00 offered?
2) Why do I need to pay S$3000+ to the lawyer even if the case is not finished yet?
3) Could a lawyer discharge even the client request to close the case whatsoever, under his supervision?
4) On the summon day, what should I .......
